County championships

These will be on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at Southill Park, Bedfordshire, combined with Bucks as usual.

Southill park directions

The post code to Southill Park is SG18 9LJ

From the east from the A1 Biggleswade North roundabout (Sainsbury).

Travel west on the A60001 Hill Lane for 1 mile. At the roundabout (GM Growers) take the first exit towards Shefford. Travel along the B658 Shefford road for approx. 2 miles. At a staggered junction turn right towards Southill. Travel through the village for approx. 1 mile. Southill Park is on the west of the village, there is a pub the White Horse on the left-hand side, pass this and 30 m on the right-hand side on a left bend turn right into the park. Electronic gates as you approach, the car park is 50 m on your left in the grounds of the local cricket club.

From the south from Shefford. Follow the road to Biggleswade and Sandy B658. Approx 1.5 miles from Shefford you enter the village of Stanford. By the public house the Green Man turn left towards Southill. After ¼ mile turn left towards Ireland. After approx. ½ mile turn right into the west side of the Southill Village. After ¼ mile the entrance to Southill Park is in front of you. Electronic gates as you approach, the car park is 50 m on your left in the grounds of the local cricket club.

From the North (Black cat roundabout) travel south on the A1 until you reach Biggleswade North (Sainsbury roundabout) Take the 3rd exit onto Hill Lane A60001. Travel west on the A60001 Hill Lane for 1 mile. At the roundabout (GM Growers) take the first exit towards Shefford. Travel along the B658 Shefford road for approx. 2 miles. From the west (Bedford) take the Road to Sandy A603. At the Sandy A1 roundabout take 3rd exit A1 south to Biggleswade for approx. 2 miles. At Biggleswade A1 roundabout (Sainsbury) take the 3rd exit A6001 Hill Lane . Travel west on the A60001 Hill Lane for 1 mile. At the roundabout (GM Growers) take the first exit towards Shefford. Travel along the B658 Shefford road for approx. 2 miles. At a staggered junction turn right towards Southill. Travel through the village for approx. 1 mile. Southill Park is on the west of the village, there is a pub the White Horse on the left-hand side, pass this and 30 m on the right-hand side on a left bend turn right into the park. London Mini Marathon 2026

The London Marathon will be held in April and there will be an Eastern Region team again with the county cross country champion in each age group being chosen as the Bedfordshire representative.

 

Other Championships

The SEAA inter county championships will be on 29th November 2025 at Horsenden Hill, Greenford.

The main Championships are planned for the 24th January 2026 at Beckenham.

The Nationals will be on 21st February 2026 at Sedgefield, County Durham.
