County championships These were held on SUNDAY 7th January 2024 at
Southill Park, near Biggleswade and combined with
Bucks as usual. Note it was a Sunday rather than the usual Saturday due to venue
availability. Thanks to all that helped put this on, primarily Biggleswade AC and
particularly David Brown. Our thanks also to the Southill Estate and
the Cricket club for use of the venue The course was surprisingly good given recent rain and we know that at
least one County Champs, Cambridgeshire, was postponed due to a waterlogged
course. The results are below. Beds county
XC champs results January 2024 All Trophies and medals have now been sent out. London Mini Marathon 2024 The London Marathon will be held in April and there will be an Eastern
Region team again with the county cross country champion in each age group
being chosen as the Bedfordshire representative. Letters were handed out at

(seaa.org.uk) The SEAA inter county championships were Cancelled just before the
first race on 9th December 2023 at Oxford (Horspath). Out thanks and apologies to all runners that made the trip and were
disappointed. It was for reasons outside of our control. It was felt first
aid access to the course could not be guaranteed. The main Championships are planned for the 27th January
2024 Beckenham. The Nationals details TBC.
