AAA County Champs Trophy awards 2022 Beds
AAA County Champs championship best performances 2022 We were especially pleased to have the family of
Brian Culleton attend the championships to present the trophy he donated 40
years ago for the best performance by an U15 Girl.. Championship
1500M races These were held
at part of a Herts event on 23rd April at Stevenage Beds Results are
below, Note the position column is the overall race position but the order
shown are the Beds positions. I also attach the
full race results below that including Herts athletes 1500m - Overall race

event We have also decided that anybody who enters the Steeplechase event on 1st May at Bury St Edmunds will qualify for Beds County Champs medals. Note there are races for U15 upwards If you have any

Championships Rationale This combined approach has been considered for a while but we have
finally agreed to do this with Herts. The reasons are: 1. Improved competition for
athletes. 2. Greater pool of officials
and a guarantee that we can provide electronic timing. 3. Availability of venue with
Bedford having been booked for BAL in 2019 and now being taken by BUCS in
2020 on the preferred mid-May weekend 4. Sharing of costs although
the combination will mean a 2 day competition which minimises this aspect. I have Regional
