CROSS COUNTRY Whilst many things are still subject to final confirmation, we DO have a 2021/22 Cross Country season. Having said that we believe the Three Counties league will be cancelled. The Chiltern league matches are arranged. See the link to the Chiltern league at the bottom of this page for dates but they are basically on the usual dates from October to February and at many of the usual venues. For those of us in Bedfordshire we have two events in the County and two in nearby Milton Keynes with only the first one at Oxford of any real travelling distance. County championships These were held on 8th January 2022 at Campbell Park Milton Keynes and combined with Bucks. Thanks to all that organised the event and also that that ran. county Cross country championships 2022 results Note a couple of name spelling mistakes have now
been corrected London Mini Marathon 2022 The London Marathon will again be held in October in 2002
before hopefully returning to April in 2023. So for 2022 the Eastern Region
Team will be selected on the basis of athletes performance at the 2021/2022
County Cross Country Championships and Powerof10 1500m/3000m
times/performance for the 2022 season. Selection will be made through the
Team Manager, Rob Machin, liaising with County Officials and Endurance
coaches across the region. Contact details are robmachin@conac.org.uk South of England The full SEAA prospectus for the coming season can be found here crosscountryprospectus.pdf (seaa.org.uk) The SEAA inter county championships are planned for 11th December at Croydon (Lloyds Park) The main Championships are planned for the 29th January at a Venue TBC. The Nationals on 26th February at Parliament Hills. Similar to Track and Field we are collating a list of past winners of the various Cross Country Trophies.
