Open Thanks to the
three people that organised the Beds Open and the officials that enabled it
to be run. Thanks also to
those athletes that took part and all who complied with the Covid Protocols
that enabled us to run the event. Results for the

Thank you to the
small team that organised the champs and the officials that made it happen on
the day. We will review in
due course any lessons from a combined champs but certainly in the field
events we have had some positive feedback on better competition. Bedfordshire

Championships for 1500M The 1500M event
was held separately on Tuesday 14th September at St Albans. Results are below Bedfordshire

As these are not often on public display, we wanted to provide an online accessible record of previous winners. This is not yet a necessarily complete list and we will be updating further as we run through our records. Championships Rationale This combined approach has been considered for a while but we have
finally agreed to do this with Herts. The reasons are: 1.
Improved competition for athletes. 2.
Greater pool of officials and a guarantee that we can provide
electronic timing. 3.
Availability of venue with Bedford having been booked for BAL in 2019
and now being taken by BUCS in 2020 on the preferred mid-May weekend 4.
Sharing of costs although the combination will mean a 2 day
competition which minimises this aspect. Following the
latest government dates and discussions with England Athletics, the dates
below are our best understanding as follows. I have not included league dates
at these can vary by club but County, Regional and National dates are here, Note
– most are still subject to confirmation. You will note
that most dates are after the June 21st proposed lifting of all
restrictions date. We do not yet
