The 2006 Championships were at Stockwood Park Luton on Sunday 14th May.

Trophy Winners
Congratulations to the first three in the U17 Men's and Women's 100M, who were invited to compete in a Spar Sprints Inter-counties 100M at the Bedford International Games on 11th June 2006.
BEDS BIG Results

The 2006 Beds County School Championships were at Bedford Stadium on 14th June.
Bedfordshire Team for English Schools on 7th /8th July at Gateshead
Bedfordshire English Schools Results

The 2006 Regional Combined Events Schools Championships were at Bedford Stadium on the weekend of the 24th/25th June.
Highlights
Hannah Longworth 6th (2,406 points) and Katherine Thornton 7th (2,390 points) both qualified for the National Finals in the Pentathlon

Results from Eastern Counties individual championships at Stevenage on 9th July

Results of the Eastern Inter-counties (Beds, Herts, Cambs, Norfolk, Suffolk,Lincs and Essex) at Sandy on 3rd September.

Results of the Eastern Combined Events Championships at Peterborough on 24th September.

CAU Intercounties HIGHLIGHTS
Jemma Harding – 2nd in Pole Vault (only Female Scorer)
Glenn Kerr (Hammer) and Steve Whyte (Shot) scored for the men.
The men's team survived relegation by one place but the Ladies were last by a single point and relegated.

SEAA U15/U17 HIGHLIGHTS
U15 Boys – DJ Tobias (Bedford & County) WINNER 100M/200M
U17 Men – Dan Clorley (Luton) 2nd 1500M
U17 Women – Lizzie Wright (Bedford & County) 3rd 200M
U17 Women – Aimee Richardson (Bedford & County) WINNER Long Jump

AAA U15/U17 HIGHLIGHTS
U15 Boys – DJ Tobias (Bedford & County) WINNER 100M/2nd 200M
U17 Men – Ryan Parker (Bedford & County) 3rd 3,000M
U17 Women – Aimee Richardson (Bedford & County) 3rd Long Jump

CAU Intercounties U15/U20 HIGHLIGHTS
U15 Boys – DJ Tobias (Bedford & County) WINNER 100M (PB)/200M (CBP)
U20 Women – Alice Middleton (Biggleswade) WINNER 400M (by 2 seconds !)

N.B. One correction. U15 Boys Long Jump is Tiashan not Tom Campbell. One clarification U15 Boys High Jump. Peter Benedickter replaced Josh Walker due to Illness.
We came 8th in both the U15 and U20 competitions.

On her Commonwealth Games Marathon Bronze Medal.

INDOOR HIGHLIGHTS
SEAA 60M U15 Boys Deji Tobias 1st in a Championship best performance.
Katrina Wootton selected for GB team in World Indoors. Her first senior GB vest.
